Riverbank House Boutique Bed & Breakfast

We look forward to welcoming you to our 19th Century Merchants House near Innishannon, Co. Cork

We hope that you will treat the house as a home from home and feel welcome to enjoy the wood fires in the sitting rooms, browse the bookshelves, enjoy the beautiful views and relax in the gardens.  We also have woodland that you are welcome to explore at your leisure - finishing at the summit of the hill where we have a summer house on the site of the Iron Age Cliff Fort, with beautiful views looking down over the River Bandon.

All our rooms are en-suite and furnished to a high standard, using period furniture and high quality bedding.  Three rooms are double with queensize beds, and one is a small suite, again with a queensize bed.

We offer afternoon tea on arrival (should you arrive at a time when you fancy afternoon tea).  For guests who want to fish, cycle or golf in the area, we offer space to store any equipment such as bikes, fishing gear, golf clubs etc, and will also be able to store any catches in our ‘catches fridge’  .As the name suggests, we are situated on the banks of the river - the Bandon, which is famous for it’s salmon, trout and bass.  You can fish directly from the houses quayside or explore the local area.  For golfers, West Cork offers you an enormous selection of courses, and for cyclists, the quiet roads will allow you to explore for hours

The river is navigable right up to our quayside.  Sailors are welcome to moor up along side the house and either stay on board or come stay in the house - just give us a call and we can discuss options.
